These terms govern your use of the TenChat app and the tenchat.mn website (“TenChat”), provided by Ten Plus LLC (registration number 6552072; address: Room 903, LS Plaza, Javzandamba Street, 18th khoroo, Khan-Uul District, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; “we” below). By signing up or signing in you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use TenChat. If you are under 18, use it with the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
Sign up with true information about yourself and do not share your sign-in details. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
An account is signed in on one phone at a time: signing in on a new phone signs the old one out.
Do not create an account in someone else's name.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
TenChat has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not send or post any of the following anywhere in TenChat, including messages, posts, comments, profiles and photos:
insults, harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation;
discrimination or hate against people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or similar;
any sexual content involving minors (we report it to the authorities at once);
nudity or pornography, or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
content that promotes or encourages violence, killing, suicide or self-harm;
illegal goods or services (such as drugs or weapons), fraud, spam or misleading advertising;
impersonating a person or organisation, or sharing someone's personal data (address, phone, documents) without their consent;
viruses, malware or attempts to access other people's accounts;
content that infringes copyright or other rights of others;
anything else forbidden by the laws of Mongolia.
4. Reports, blocking and moderation
Use Report in the menu of a person, group, message, post or comment to tell us. You can block anyone: a blocked person can no longer message you one to one, add you to a group, or see your posts and comments.
We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and suspend or permanently ban the users who posted it. To review a report we read the reported message, post or comment.
Where someone's life or health is in danger, or a crime may have been committed, we may inform the authorities.
5. Your content
The messages, posts, photos, videos, voice messages, files and comments you send remain yours. You allow us to store, transmit and show them through TenChat to the people you choose (the people in your chats and groups, your friends). This permission ends when you delete the content or your account: deleted content is hidden from everyone at once, and what we keep after that, and for how long, is in section 5 of the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for everything you post.
6. Closing and deleting accounts
You can delete your account at any time in “Me” → “Delete account”.
We may suspend or delete an account without notice if it breaks these terms, harms others or breaks the law. You can ask about such a decision at support@tenchat.mn.
7. The service
TenChat is currently a free beta. We may add, change, pause or remove features. We try to keep TenChat running without interruptions or errors but cannot guarantee it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TenChat is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect damage caused by other users' content or actions, interruptions of the service or loss of data. This does not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We announce important changes in advance in the app or on the website. Using TenChat after a change means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking with you; otherwise it is decided by the courts of Mongolia.
